‘From elite to street’ addresses the entrenched elitism within fashion. It reimages the rich heritage of the sport with the contemporary demands of the modern golfer, aiming to bridge the gap between traditional golf apparel and the vibrant street style that resonates with today’s diverse, inclusive audience. Drawing inspiration from the classic “neatness of the 1920s traditional knit patterns are modernised and juxtaposed with the relaxed, baggy 90s hip-hop silhouette. Infusing innovative knitwear techniques with classic golf wear elements, I challenge traditional exclusivity, inviting inclusivity and diversity to the fold.
