This is an Autumn /Winter 2021 collection inspired by an indigenous ethnic tribe (Magar) who live behind the high hills of western and southern state of Nepal.
The key garments have been taken from the western influence towards Nepalese traditional attire. The contrast silhouette combination of structured and draping will be visible throughout the collection. I will be focusing on small details such as pleats and gathers which will imitate the lunghi. This collection will sit along with Rick Owens and Wales Bonner.
Expect to see a wide range of pieces taken from both aspects of female and male attire assembled with traditional ornaments.
Overall, the collection will translate and highlight the culture through the vision of contemporary fashion.
